Source: the New Zealand Companies Register, published as monthly bulk data. Serava imported its companies in April 2026; each snapshot fills in missing director names and websites and updates those it filled before, matching on company name (case, punctuation and legal suffixes ignored; ambiguous names skipped). Named-director coverage uses the earliest-appointed director on file.
These aggregate statistics are Serava.AI's own measurements over its 5.8M+-company first-party dataset, published for citation under CC BY 4.0. The underlying register content remains Crown data administered by the New Zealand Companies Office, used for business purposes under its bulk-data terms.
