The FMCSA register gives us the carrier, its owner, and how to reach them. It does not report revenue or profit, because no government filing does. Anywhere on Serava that shows a revenue or EBITDA figure, that number is modeled from industry benchmarks for a business of that size and type, not reported by the company. Treat it as a planning estimate, never as a fact about a specific carrier.

How this data is built

The FMCSA motor-carrier register (US federal filing) lists every operating US motor carrier by federal requirement, which is why phone coverage sits at 99% because a filer without a working phone number is not compliant. Owner-email coverage is lower (38%) because email is not a required field, but where one exists, 97% of the time it is a personal address rather than a shared dispatch inbox.

We measured owner-email coverage at 0% across 16 of 17 real customer maps in other industries before finding this one. The database is not uniformly thin, it is excellent in transport and logistics and thinner elsewhere, and this is the one vertical where we can honestly promise a contactable owner today.

Coverage numbers on this page are a full production-database scan (2026-09-06), not a sample. An earlier per-state pull was a sampled estimate, not an exact count, and put California more than 6% high. The state-by-state breakdown below replaces it with exact counts that sum to the national total.
